 PHYSICAL CHEMISTRY DIVISION
The functions of Physical Chemistry division are as follows:
1 Teaching Physical Chemistry to various post graduate and post diploma courses on Alcohol Technology and Sugar Technology
2 Research in physico-chemical aspects of sugar manufacture particularly color phenomenon.
3 To render technical advice to sugar and allied industries in their problems related to Physical Chemistry, particularly color.

3.Studies on color phenomenon in sugar manufacture.
