Physical Chemistry division are as follows:

Teaching Physical Chemistry to various post graduate and post diploma courses on Alcohol Technology and Sugar Technology |

Research in physico-chemical aspects of sugar manufacture particularly color phenomenon. |

To render technical advice to sugar and allied industries in their
problems related to Physical Chemistry, particularly color. |
